Great value and customer service

Great company, incredible ethos.

I’ve been with Laka for around a year, and shortly after having taken out insurance with them I needed to claim. It couldn’t have been easier, the staff were helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. I had the money in my account before the repairer had even invoiced the work. It was only a minor claim and a small amount of damage, but it was reassuring to know that they are there should I need to claim in the future. Reviewed on: 18th September 2020

100% trust and peace of mind

I’ve been with Laka for 3 years now after a Bikmo refused to insure me following 2 claims. Cycling is a dangerous sport especially if you’re racing, so to have a cycling insurer refuse to insure me I was lost as to what I could do. That’s where Laka stepped in. The unique way in which they work, using a cycling community to cover all accidents, including racing, means that they were more than happy to take me on and I now have 100% trust and peace of mind that should I have an accident, Laka will be there to support me. Excellent customer service

It's refreshing to go back to talk to a person rather than a machine. A real human person who understands you and cares about you and your bicycle. You will never be lost in bureaucracy with them, which is a bonus. Reviewed on: 18th September 2020

Incredible seevice, at a fair price

The peer to peer nature of Laka means your only paying for what is needed. That monthly price has never hit the capped amount which was at roughly the same amount most other companies were quoting. I also unfortunately had to make a claim recently. Never been so impressed with a service. Easy to submit the claim, a response within 48 hours (I submitted it on a weekend), money in my account within 4 days of submitting the claim. Chapeau Reviewed on: 18th September 2020

Simple, No hassle or fuss

Haven’t had to use any of the insurance as of yet. Hopefully I won’t have to. They have got a few perks and discounts for Laka members which I have used. I’ve added onto my policy and removed items off my policy. Just login and change what you need. Super easy. Comprehensive and innovative insurance
