I now have peace of mind

Since I changed my bike insurance from another company to Laka I have more peace of mind than before. The cover is outstandingly good with services that I have never seen in any other company. They are definitely the top of the market in the bike insurance sector. Reviewed on: 7th August 2019

You can tell Laka was started by cyclists. It's easy to add bikes and chose the amount to cover them for. As someone that builds rather than buys them it's great. I've luckily not had to make a claim but my friends that have all have only positive things to say. No struggle to get the full amount or anything. The bonus is that it works out a good deal cheaper than the other insurers I checked out too. Reviewed on: 7th August 2019

Laka are hands down the best insurer I have ever used

I had to make a substantial claim with Laka while on holiday in Italy. I was expecting an argument, negotiation and a very protracted claims process but was so pleasantly surprised. I bought a replacement for the item I lost (it was expensive) and Laka had the money back in my bank account before I went to bed that night. Fantastic!!! Reviewed on: 6th August 2019

Fantastic service and AMAZING cover

After being involved in an accident, I got half way through claiming but stopped as I didn't think it was worth it. Laka got in touch, encouraged me to finish my claim and then took care of the whole thing. I was honestly totally blown away. Such a great experience from a really crap one in being involved in an accident that wasn't my fault which smashed up by bike . Could not recommend enough. Reviewed on: 6th August 2019

On the few times Ive had to claim with Laka their customer service has been exceptional. They guide you through the process step by step in to ensure the claim is as easy as possible for you, and I have received goods way within 48 hours of my claim. 110% would reccomend Reviewed on: 6th August 2019

Highly recommended! Community-powered is the way forward

Brilliant concept and incredible service. Love the idea of an insurance scheme funded by the community and an insurance company that wants to do the right thing for its customers. Oh and they're friendly, efficient, responsive and helpful too. If you're a cyclist and want a much better type of insurance (which benefits you and the wider cycling community too) then I'd encourage you to check out Laka. Having claimed for my stolen bike with Laka, I can definitely vouch for their speed and helpfulness. They've got a new bike to me within the week. I'm glad I chose them as my insurance. Not having a flat rate and paying for other Laka claims is great too. My monthly fees have ranged from £4 to £20. I tend to think insurance companies are evil but Laka certainly isn't an evil one.
