Brilliant company

Such a refreshing change to see an insurance company operating in an open and transparent way. It’s how this market should work but rarely does, huge credit and thanks to the people behind this, keep up the great work and thank you. Oh and if you fancy it could you look at car insurance too? Sadly a poor experience, & left without my bike

My bike was stolen from work, and the claim was denied by the Laka team. I found it difficult to contact them and the turn around was slow, to be left with the disappointing news of the claim being denied. I found their pricing expensive, and their constant emails to be exhausting. Reviewed on: 6th October 2023

Innovative, flexible & good value

Great humans who run business with brilliant fundamentals and execution

I have been with Laka since 5 months. Have lost my Giant 2 TCR that was stolen from the front of Primary School in Pimrose Hill. The way the claim was dealt with was phenomenal. The team was genuinely empathetic, I was kept informed about duration of each procedure, the online webpage where the process is handled is excellent and very intuitive. Foremost, I love the concept of business that is rooted in the community, like Laka is. Happy to pay a bit higher premium for excellent quality service delivered by outstanding individuals. Fast response and effective customer support

I have been using Laka for a few months and at the beginning I was a bit doubting about the insurance for my bicicle since it was my first time insuring it. Unfortunately, my bicycle was stolen, but I raised the claim with Laka without too much effort they have repaid by bicycle value within a week. I was absolutely surprised. They have also been so honest by telling me that the value I insured my bicycle was lower than the actual cost to replace even though I bought it second hand.
