Laka have a unique approach to pricing. They won't charge you a fixed sum. Instead, they calculate your monthly contributions - up to a max capped amount - based on the Collective's claims. The policy is completely flexible so if you want to upgrade, add travel, racing, or pause cover, you can.

Expensive and over familiar

Never had to make a claim so can’t comment on that side. I had to use them as a condition of a bike hire scheme but now that’s finished I’ll be leaving - and saving £130 a year in the process. Also their monthly emails (which include financial info so you can’t opt out) wound me up with their matey tone and smug tales of their adventures. Also tried to get me to sign up to extra cost “Club Laka” on an opt-out basis which was extremely sneaky. Reviewed on: 1st September 2023
