A thoughtful old style Building Society!

At 70 years old, 7 years ago, The Leek gave myself and my Wife the go ahead to a 60% mortgage. It started with a 2yr fixed interest, followed by 5 year fixed. We have just been given a further 5 years, that has not increased to an unaffordable monthly payment. They are a trustworthy organisation of the old school, using invested money to lend to less well off people! Reviewed on: 23rd January 2026

Informed decision at our own pace.

Leek Building Society have always been reliable and trustworthy. Easy to access information on line or through the post if preferred. Always some one at the end of a phone to help with any queries.
