Mortgages during difficult times for ordinary people.

Having taken out a mortgage with Leek Building Society I have valued their input via emails to keep me informed of the status of my account. When I had to renew my mortgage the process was very easy, even though it was a difficult time and rates had gone much higher. The Leek Building Society found me a good rate at a difficult time. Rocky start but got there in the end!

We had a rocky start as the team dealing when we were trying to get our mortgage offer as they weren’t being the best at understanding our income. But our broker was great and we got there in the end and since then it’s been relatively smooth sailing. We knew this process was never going to be easy but we got there.
