Impressive Mortgage process

The mortgage process went well, in particular the valuation was done quite quickly. The mortgage advisor was very helpful, in fact during the process when I was abroad she made sure she contacted me on the temporary number I gave her. However, my only frustration was after the valuation when I was told everything was ok, it took a while for the team to officially confirm/ send docs over to me. Reviewed on: 23rd January 2024

My first mortgage

When applying for my first mortgage, Leek United Building Society offered the best interest rate on a 5 year fixed deal. We put our application in & everything went smoothly. A few months down the line, we decided that we wanted to start overpaying our mortgage each month so I submitted an online form requesting a callback after 4pm on weekdays. The following day, I received a call from a member of staff who talked through our monthly repayments & amended our direct debit to reflect the payments we wanted to make. She was incredibly helpful & friendly and I couldn’t believe how quickly leek had gotten back to us. Mortguages.

I found the Mortguage advisor friendly and efficient. I felt they had my best interests at heart in a tricky time with interest rates rising. They are good at responding to queries and gave me time to think. Reviewed on: 23rd January 2024

They have been nothing short of amazing.
