Great Team at Macclesfield

All members of staff are very friendly, professional and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. The refurbishment of the branches was a great decision, the decor is so much better, keep the branches open and available on the High Street. Reviewed on: 8th February 2025

I visited a branch to close a REALLY old account.

I visited a branch to close a REALLY old account. The assistant at LUBS`s Hanley branch was so helpful and even shared my enthusism abpout the interest that had accrued over all those years. There was total cooperation when it came to paying out the balance. Reviewed on: 8th February 2025

Ridiculous service .

Opened a new account in branch went in to collect passbook and was told to provide identification which I dont have but it was the same person who had my details when I opened the account so they knew who I was so they said they would have to post it despite the fact that I live a lot closer to the branch than the postbox they would have to use due to limited post here by the time the weekend is over it will be at least 6 days before I get it Reviewed on: 7th February 2025

Whilst we’re sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused, this is common practice amongst most banks and building societies and serves to protect customers from potential fraud and financial crime.
