Review of the London Capital Credit Union, Savings:

Allowed me to see where I truly was

I’m 25, and due to family issues, have been entangled in a web of disastrous consumer credit debt which took a massive hold on my mental health leading to not only becoming a complete different person I didn’t recognised but also a person I didn’t recognise who was in debt and no longer saw the joy in anything. I applied to the credit union many times, but when I actually sat down and took everything seriously, realised I needed to be organised and accurate, I eventually was able to get a loan that started the trend of saving. Essentially, the union helped me understand where I was, without all the emotions. At 25, it’s embarassing to be here, but they gave me a chance and took me out of a troublesome period of time when I needed it most and everyone else wrote me off. It isn’t life changing money, but it’s enough to start fresh, and build a savings pot. Let’s see where life takes me. Reviewed on: 25th May 2025

Sending Documents

Having been unable to send documents, I went to the main office (not knowing that an appointment was necessary), and was greeted excellently. I was made to feel very welcomed by staff and upon producing the relevant documents my all problems were solved. Many thanks to Sam & the other coworkers. Reviewed on: 28th May 2025
