Five year run

Had a five year stint with LV and was greatly priced each year Reviewed on: 26th September 2022

Cheap because their repair service is horrendous - steer clear of these shysters

I was a happy customer with LV for years until I needed to claim when my car was hit by another driver. A small accident and the fault of the other driver. I was initially told it would take 2 days of work to repair. Sadly LV use a failing repair service called Artis. It is now more than 3 months after the accident and I still don’t have the repair done. They have had the car for over 5 weeks of that time, I have had countless conversations, every excuse under the sun (lack of staff, repairs went wrong, no parts ordered, wrong parts ordered, holidays, can’t find the wheel locking nut (on a very common car - no one thought to check the manual in the glove compartment!), accident outside workshop, ….). You could not make it up. My estimated completion date has now moved 9 times! Promised again for Monday but I’ll believe it if I (ever) see it. LV turned out to be a very expensive choice of insurer given all the cost incurred by not having a car for so long! Avoid!!!! Reviewed on: 23rd September 2022

Quick and efficient

Even though I was changing to another provider ,only for economical reasons , they took their time to explain how things would proceed and refund was carried out swiftly. Reviewed on: 16th September 2022

Caravan Insurance

I had an old VW that came under camper insurance. I got into my first accident and was panicked and the lady on the phone was so nice and calming and explained what to do and what would happen. She made me feel so comfortable and helped me inform my decisions Reviewed on: 25th August 2022

Great company

Very easy to obtain insurance and the call centre staff are very helpful. I have always found that the price is very competitive also. Reviewed on: 21st August 2022

Very helpful

When I needed to make a claim they were very helpful in advising how to claim and settled quickly and paid the full cost of the repair. I also had a courtesy car for the duration of the repair. Reviewed on: 20th August 2022

Cheapest car insurance with good cover

For similar levels of cover LV offered a cheaper car insurance than competitors, including our existing cover with Admiral Multicover. Fast and simple to set up cover. Reviewed on: 14th August 2022
