LV= offer three levels of home insurance cover: Essentials, Home and Home Plus.

Essentials is the most basic cover. LV= Home and Home Plus have additional cover with some optional extras included as standard including accidental damage and locks and keys replacement. You can get a quote for LV= home insurance online.

Refused to pay

Refused to pay for water damage caused during severe storms a few years ago - said wear and tear! Used to have all car and home insurance with them but I will never use LV again Reviewed on: 1st August 2016

Does what is needed

We have been with LV many years and have had to make a claim 3 times. Once for a burglary, once for a leak, and once for storm damage. On every occasion the claim was dealt with quickly and efficiently. Wouldn't go with anyone else. Reviewed on: 1st August 2016

We had a leak which was coming in from a neighbouring property. All the tiles and plaster had to be removed in our bathroom. LV arranged for this to be done and a dehumidifier to be installed to dry everything out. Then they arranged for someone to re-plaster, re-tile and redecorate. We couldn't have asked for better service and a hassle free experience in putting things right. Reviewed on: 13th July 2016

We have been with LV for years. When we had a break-in they dealt with our claim quickly, fairly, and were really helpful. We also had a problem with water damage caused by a neighbouring property. They arranged everything that needed to be done with no fuss. Wouldn't go with anyone else. Reviewed on: 6th July 2016

Ive been using Liverpool Victoria for my home insurance for the past couple of years. The quote they gave me was cheaper than my previous provider and so far Ive been impressed with the coverage they have provided. Recommended. Reviewed on: 28th March 2016
