Service and Products for All Delivered with a Smile

I opened savings accounts for each of my 3 children when they were little. It was lovely to have a local branch where staff were welcoming and friendly. Thirty years later my son applied for a mortgage and received a very professional service. I have opened a regular savings account which I think is good value. And again I value the personal service being able to pop into the branch. I much prefer the friendly face to face customer service from staff who clearly enjoy their work than having to rely on impersonal, often automated telephone helplines. Reviewed on: 12th January 2026
