Appalling service

Had a small bump in my car - equally at fault Called marshmallow as a notification They said they contact me if anything occurred No contact demo them so I assume all ok Renew insurance with someone else (as theirs was too high) Months later I’m contacted by the new insurance company to say marshmallow have loaded my details on the industry database as being at fault in the accident and have settled my claim. Ines insurance company saying i didn't inform them,!!!!!!! Marshmallow do not have a phone line. All there is it’s a live chat which is rubbish Reviewed on: 19th July 2023

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

After a year they will double your insurance price for no reason!! Haven’t made a single claim or complaint for the whole year then get my renewal quote for double the price I was paying, their excuse is they’ve had to pay out lots of claims this year, it’s not my duty to pay for other peoples claims! STAY AWAY IF YOU DON'T WANT TO GET SICK!!!

Definitely stay away if you don't want to get sick! It has been 55 days since they took my car, and I'm left without a courtesy car. I have to pick up my child from school with no transportation. Marshmallow is not offering any solution other than keeping you waiting. I keep getting sent from S&G to Marshmallow and back again. I've sent an official complaint and will be in touch with watchdog and also the financial ombudsman. It's just a waste of time expecting a solution from Marshmallow. This situation is extremely distressing and frustrating. Waiting for so long can have a detrimental effect on mental health, and it's truly unbearable.I don't want anyone to experience this awful feeling. Total scam

Stay well clear there scam your money whatever way they can be warned I will never go with an online insurance company ever again. 800 quid out of pocket and got to fix my own car after someone smashed into it whiles it was parked. Reviewed on: 6th July 2023

Absolute scam artists ! Stay clear !

Awful company ! Take your money refuse to help you especially if you have a claim no number have wait days for a response from a chat box! Threatened and bullied me when o tried to ask for help ! Dragged their heels when dealing with my claim so they could charge me more money and now will not tell me the location of my own car ! Stay away from theses crooks . Reviewed on: 5th July 2023

if i could give no stars i would

i contacted the insurance to change my address and was told my monthly premium would go down however it has not, my monthly payments have gone up, i then contacted them about this but they are very quick to end the conversation and tell me that it is not possible. i am being scammed out of money by this company as if i go onto the internet and enter my new address the payments are over £100 cheaper a month than what i am currently paying. Secondly they have refused to change my payment date which i have asked for multiple times and i changed jobs, they then send me emails saying they will cancel my policy if i dont pay but ,maybe if our customer service was a bit better and you weren't all worried about yourselves you'd understand that circumstance do change. this is the only insurance company i have ever known to have these stupid ideas. i will be cancelling my policy and going with someone new. Mess mellow

Taking policy is hassle free after that, they scam new immigrants who took insurance policy by increasing premium after a month of renewal. Reviewed on: 27th June 2023

Can't contact them

Trying to insurance myself with them. They've taken my money and I cant contact them by email, phone or chat. I dont seem to have an account so can't access details. Can't drive my car cos I don't know if I'm insured. Their email on their website is incomplete. Wrong website on their website! Not a good start Reviewed on: 23rd June 2023

Scam alert

Do not buy.i had an accident 10 days ago and I'm still waiting for them to collect it. I got so fed up I said I'd use my own garage only to be told that I'd have to pay an additional 250 fee.this is madness . They cannot collect my car but yet they still want to charge me for finding my own garage to fix it. No courtesy car although I'm paying for it.total scammers.i will be posting as many negative reviews and report them to FCA. Absolutely disgusting.
