Hey, don't even think about taking their insurance.

Hey, don't even think about taking their insurance. It might be cheaper, but trust me, it's not worth it. I had two years of no-claims discount with them, and when I made my first claim in the third year, they didn't respond for four weeks! They kept moving me from one team to another, and there were days when they didn't reply at all. And my claim was a no-fault claim meaning hit and run my parked car, but they still haven't assigned a recovery team to find the third party. If you're looking for an insurance company to protect your vehicle or to get your money, this is not the one and they don't have a call option, you can only chat with them, and sometimes they won't respond for days. They will force you give up your claim , they even closed my closed claim and said it was by accident and reopened it Thats my experience so far Reviewed on: 5th November 2024

SCAM. AVOID

SCAM. AVOID Very bad experience. Each year they increase the insurance premium to outrageous amounts. This year just before my insurance premium renewal a claim was opened (strange coincidence...) claiming that I was involved in an accident in a part of the UK that I've never been... Cancelling insurances for fun

I'm a young driver, getting insurance quotes are already hard and pricey. they gave me an insurance and then cancelled it although I provided them with the evidence they've asked for. They did not give me a choice to appeal or replied to my emails on time, it was only after they cancelled it with a few hour notice. They don't have a phone line or an office address where you can visit, only live chat which they never responded to me on as well. Now my name is written off in the system as cancelled, I can't get any insurance anymore although I haven't done anything fraudulent. This is extremely damaging and distressful. I'm now reporting the company to the Financial Ombudsman. Because of their attitude and lack of response, it almost as if seems that they wanted to cancel me even though I have sent them valid evidence, I am reluctant to think this way normally but, I can now say that this also feels to be a racially motivated stance. Auto renewing and refunding partially after a long time

They auto renewed my insurance and would not provide me a contact number to call and cancel. They didnt send me any postal correspondance to inform me. They took out over 1000£ as premium from my bank account. Only chat facility available to corresspond which is slow. I cancelled the insurance over chat immediately (within cooling off period) but they still charged me £30 admin fee. They also gave me a huge bill for 2 days' insurance they charged pro-rata. Raised a complaint and they took months to respond. They didnt do anything. They took a long time refunding the money as well and still charged Admin fee (even though I was withing 7 day cooling off period). Thieves. Stay away from them Reviewed on: 14th August 2024

It is a scam

No costumer service. You can’t contact them in any way. You can’t change or cancel your policy. They don’t give you any support. It is just a scam. I have been for 6 days waiting for them to answer me in their chat and nothing I have sent a complaint email and also nothing. Reviewed on: 2nd August 2024

Totally unresponsive customer support. Avoid.

No way to contact them except their automated online chat. If you need something not covered by autobot then if says it's sending you to customer support. Been waiting 3 days for a response. All I get is automatic 'sorry for delay' message every few hours and at close of business. Hope I never have to make a claim. Cannot recommend this company even though they were competitive on price when I first signed up. Reviewed on: 27th July 2024

Terrible Experience - Avoid at All Costs!

I had an absolutely dreadful experience with Marshmallow. This company will cheat you out of your money without any hesitation. From the very beginning, the service was terrible. They lured me in with seemingly competitive rates, but once I signed up, everything went downhill. The customer service was unresponsive and unhelpful, making the whole process a nightmare. I felt completely unsupported and scammed. If you value your time, money, and peace of mind, steer clear of Marshmallow. This company is a complete rip-off and should be avoided at all costs!
