Business necessities.

Metro is the bank that provide all my business necessities. Everything i needs for my business: fast account opening, instant card, all times access both online and on site. Managing my spending and more. Reviewed on: 4th April 2023

Beyond excellence

I went to Metro bank to open a new business account. Within a few hours my Business account was up and running. Within 24 hours of opening my account, I had my cheque book, debit card ready for collection from the Branch. Service was excellent, with all the staff with a attitude of Can Do. My advice to all new start ups, go to Metro Bank who will have no hesitation to open a account for your new business. I initially approached Barclays Bank with whom i have a personal account for more than 25 years. It took Barclays bank almost 8 weeks to come back to me with a decision of not willing to open a Business account for my new business. Very frustrating as I had spent a lot of time chasing the department for a decision. My only regret is of not going to Metro Bank in the first Instance. Thank you Metro Bank and its staff. Great

I send money to Asia through world remit and my family receive it with no hassle it was fast. Safe/secure by sending money to bank or pick up/cash. Very helpful I did experience not knowing that my card was expired and I lost the new card they send me. So went there and told what happened and on that day they gave me one. That was so quick! Yay! shopping day I told my husband. My family use METRO Bank as well. When I get cash the machine is always available. The Apps is fantastic. Now I have two ways to pay, card or by phone. Above all always reminding me of my expenses, which I am greatful on how to use my money wisely. Reviewed on: 4th April 2023

Amazing Service

They supported us when other banks didn't care

When HSBC imposed banking charges on our small community bank account we decided to save money and try and find a bank that did not penalise small organizations that seek to support vulnerable people in their community. The£60 annual fee would have helped us to support a homeless person for two nights. We then applied to Nat West, Santander and Stirling. All rejected us for various reasons. Metro Bank accepted our business and we are very happy customers. Having always been in the black and never caused any trouble we felt rejected by others.
