When the 'big 4' gave us the run-around to open a charity/church account, Metro Bank were fast, honest and gave fantastic service. They were with us all the way. Good experience for opening business account with metro

The options given by the bank especially in terms of business account are great and easy to manage. Opening of business account is easy in comparison of other banks. Also they gave option for making huge transactions and online services are available 24/7. Even the branches are open on Sunday’s as well which makes easy to manage the stuff. Card printing option at store is also good. Just one thing if they can improve is giving appointments for opening business accounts in all branches and make easy to apply online for business accounts so that the time can be saved as time is money. Great bank

We opened this account last year as we were being charged by our other bank just for having an account with them. Being a charity and a church we have have a responsibility as to how our funds are spent. We had very geed feed back about Metro Bank so we checked them out and found them the best for our needs as a charity. Reviewed on: 10th March 2023

Confirmation of Payee

Metro Bank's continual refusal to use Confirmation of Payee is a huge security risk and means that I will no longer use this bank, nor recommend it to my many clients. CoP was launched 3 years ago and almost every other major bank complies with this protocol, offering huge benefits to security when making online bank payments. Metro Bank has said for some time that it plans to comply but offers no timeline. If other banks can do this, why not Metro? Reviewed on: 10th March 2023
