Friendly, Efficient and Accessible Service

The above title pretty much sums up Metro Bank. Following a bad experience with a previous bank, I was left in a very stressful situation. Walking in off the High Street into my local Metro branch (Croydon), I was instantly given the human touch. I was listened to, an appointment made to speak with a business manager and within 3 days I had an account opened that is right for my community interest company. I love the fact that Metro continues the tradition of making banking easy for all and making that person to person contact a key part of their service. Reviewed on: 6th April 2023

Not great in the North

I manage the finances for a club based in Cumbria. Whenever I want to make changes e.g. to signatories, the only solution seems to be to “drop in at a branch”. As the nearest branch is Manchester that is not very convenient, to say the least. Metro Bank are poor at online banking. Reviewed on: 10th March 2023

Metro are trying hard in a changing market

There is no doubt that banking has seen huge changes over the last few years, both in terms of engagement but also in terms of services. Metro have tried to buck the trend in offering a high street presence as well as telephone based service. It is not an easy path to tread but at least Metro are trying to be client facing as well as innovative. To that end our business manager is a real person as is their team. No fuss

Service is back.

Having other business accounts with other providers, I decided to try something new. I am so glad I did. Customer service is back and real people exist!!! It will not be long before I move my other businesses to Metro Bank. Setting standards for the others too follows no doubt one day. Reviewed on: 10th March 2023
