I am a customer, but I use to work at Metro Bank, and we were taught to give our full attention to the needs of our customer. Now that I am on the other side of the desk, I feel this - Metro Bank help me with what I need and want, not trying to sell or push products I do not need or want. Brilliant bank

I have jumped a number of banks over the years, taking advantage of different offers for new account holders. Metro didn't offer any financial incentive. Instead, they offered genuine banking. Face to face availability daily, the opening of 7 days a week makes a huge impact, but the overall customer service journey is fantastic. I now have my current account, savings account, and child's account with the bank, and have recommended it to multiple friends and family. Cannot rate or recommend highly enough. After switching from a major high Street bank over 2 years ago I would like to convey my thoughts on the excellent service received in branch and via telephone customer services. To add to this have always received helpful prompt service in branch with regards to obtaining new cards, transfers and help with queries regarding hard copies of statements when required, along friendly staff this what banking should be like. never had any kind of issue that hasn't been resolved easily. the stores are always open, staff are flawless.....print new cards directly in-store is an excellent feature. web portal is clear, informative easy to navigate, online payment security is just right - enough to make you feel secure but not obstructive. cannot rate MB highly enough Reviewed on: 8th March 2021
