Metro Bank has excellent service, from the card and pub issues on the spot, to the UK call centre and the cash machines indoors. Oh and the money machines for converting your change for free! Simply fab! Reviewed on: 6th November 2017

Awful bank

This bank seems like the best thing since sliced bread until you get into 6 months of the account, the issues then start. The call centre team are rude and useless. Reviewed on: 6th November 2017

Missing Some Custom

As a bank they only open accounts in store, so they are keeping many potential customers at a disadvantage really which surely is discriminating against people who are unable to get into store ! Reviewed on: 5th October 2017

Today Metrobank advised me after a review of my account that it will be closed, no explanation or time to arrange alternative banking. I raised with them the issue how they are producing false balances on accounts after checking my account at 4 am when they reconcile pending balances they take out the money with duplicate pending encroaching on your balance. Leaving customers with less money than they think. Check it out on your app at night. I want to hear from anyone who has had this experience of negligence, in particular, with this perception that they have with an abandonment of a duty of care. Super helpful and responsive

I love Metro Bank. Their long opening hours are brilliant when you only have a short lunchbreak and the entire world seems to want to pay in a cheque at the same time as yourself! I've had to call their 24 hour support phone number on a few occasions and always had helpful people and had my problems resolved quickly. I've even tweeted them questions and they respond quickly via that too. I've always found store staff polite and helpful too and I like the additional services they provide such as the Magic Money Machine and refunding Battersea Dogs & Cats Home rehoming fees!
