Opening a current account

I was having issues with my previous card, needed a new one as soon as possible as I had payments due the next day. I went in to metro bank and this lovely staff member sorted it and walked me through everything and I was able to make my payments and have direct debits set up now which is brilliant. Excellent customer service and very efficient

The app is very easy to use and is handy with the spending breakdowns which feel more easy to understand and less intimidating than with other bank current accounts I have used. The in-person service in the bank is always friendly and seems genuinely caring rather than begrudging, which is why I prefer them to other banks. I have lost or had my bank card stolen on several occasions and they are always ready to cancel the old card and print me a new one within 10 minutes - when I had a similar problem with Santander, it became a two week problem.
