Metro Bank is the bank for me

Having had a bank previously where I was always having problems I transferred over to Metro. They have been brilliant. Even having one of their customer service staff walk around to my previous bank with me to enable me to withdraw funds that I had been told I could not access. Staff are always friendly and polite. Until Covid a nice cup of tea or coffee is always on offer and any problems or queries are always dealt with professionally and quickly. Couldn't reccommend them more Reviewed on: 1st April 2021

The experience of banking at Metro Bank is like no other. Courteous and attentive staff have been ever patient with me, especially through the worst years of my disability. Where else can one enjoy a wonderful cup of coffee after an arduous journey whilst sat in a comfortable chair calmly discussing ones banking? I don't have a dog myself but the notion that dogs are welcome and have the opportunity to have a bowl of water and biscuit on site speaks volumes for my bank’s human touch which in my experience is demonstrated throughout all it does. Find it the hardest bank to work with on line

I opened up a savings account with Metro a few years ago and have not looked back since. They make saving money enjoyable, also the team are well managed and so easy to get hold of with a friendly attitude. Reviewed on: 1st April 2021

Easy opening kids account; use change machine for free & get £5 bonus regularly

It was easy to. open a kids account. There is a change machine in each branch. Every time the machine is used, there's a free gift - such as a watch, bouncy ball, highlighter pens or badge. Use the machine 5 times in a row and gain a £5 bonus. Wish the rates were a bit higher. Service is good - sometimes better than others.
