With most banks reducing branch opening hours it's refreshing to be able to bank with Metro Bank who are open later so you can get your banking done after work in one of their branches. Reviewed on: 11th March 2023

They put their customers as the heart of their business. Although they have online, they do not consider you a dinosaur if you need to go into the bank and get help. And on top of that, they welcome dogs. Reviewed on: 11th March 2023

Friendly welcome and good advice from a person and not a machine.

We wanted advice on an account that was maturing. We were seen immediately and we were talked through all the options available. Any forms were printed for us to take away. There was no feeling of urgency to finish the session. Reviewed on: 11th March 2023

Best Bank on the High street

I transferred my account many years ago to Metro from another Bank. Since this time I have nothing but praise for Metro bank. Appointments are not needed, Staff are friendly, good interest rates on savings and you can get a replacement debit card printed at the bank. They also have good opening hours. Nightmare to open a savings account
