I opened a Mettle business account when I started my own business. The app is excellent and easy to use. The fact that FreeAgent came with the account was a real bonus! Mettle is a great app that's easy to use and I would recommend. It also comes with the Freeagent accounting software that can do MTD and file accounts and taxes. The bank account is app based but super easy to use and the customer support has been helpful. Reviewed on: 18th March 2026
