Great app for small business

I was recommended METTLE by a friend as I was settling my small business. Am not gadget friendly even less any skills in IT. I’ve been using it for a hand full of months now. It is so easy to use and the help/support customer line is extremely good and helpful.. for a legitimate small business I give my 110% recommendations… Reviewed on: 21st February 2026

Excellent Business Banking of our time

I found that Mettle bank is easy to use, intuitive and very efficient. I love the separate pots feature and auto deduction for my VAT. I only rate customer service as good because when I asked for help to stop or cancel a payment (AutoCad) - I was told to contact AutoCad. If I can contact AutoCad I would not have asked Mettle customer service for help. Therefore, because Mettle refused to help, I am still paying for a service that I don’t need every month. This is the only reason why I rated ‘good’ instead of ‘excellent’. Reviewed on: 21st February 2026

The app works really well, enabling me to send invoices and manage payments received by automatically sending a percentage to a VAT pot for VAT returns, a percentage to savings or whatever I choose. Reviewed on: 20th February 2026

I wouldn't go anywhere else

i am so glad i found Mettle, I wouldn't go anywhere else, its a great app all my expenses and invoices all in one place and i cant believe its free. the app is really easy to use and very straight forward, the mettle bank is partnered with freeagent which is a god send especially when the self assessment comes up! if I had any questions or queries there is a chat helpline one click away and I have never had to wait long for them to answer and they are so quick to help. honestly its great to have everything that i need for my business all in one place! I find the app simple and easy to use. I had some suspicious transactions on my account which I alerted Mettle about straight away. They put a stop on the transactions and refunded the payments whilst they investigated. They also put a stop on my card and issued a new one straight away. I have always had great customer service whenever I have needed to contact them and cant recommend them enough. Reviewed on: 20th February 2026

Gotta be Mettle for me

I've been using Mettle as my business bank account now for a good while - as a self employed barber, its important to have all inbound and outbound transactions categorised, noted, and sorted. Being able to do so on the app makes my life a breeze, as well as having the tax pots automatically set aside money, meaning theres no stress for the self-assessment period! :D Reviewed on: 20th February 2026
