Perfect for a small business

I wanted to remove unnecessary costs and all the hassles that are associated with business banking. Simple to set-up, simple to use and also comes with some really useful features such as: Invoice system, ability to categorise transactions and a neat little function called 'Pots' which allows you to create a separate payment area or 'Pot' to transfer money, handy for your tax! Mettle Gives Me Confidence :)

Prior to Mettle, I was with two other banks that offered business accounting. Both didn’t hit the mark for various reasons. It was only when I discovered Mettle that things changed. The platform offered an incredibly simple yet comprehensive package that covered all my needs. With the ‘rules’ feature, I can automatically send money to different pots, ensuring I am saving what I need for my business to grow. I have also taken advantage of the ‘categorising’ and ‘documenting’ features for business expenses that seamlessly sync with the FreeAgent tax tool Mettle also connects with. I have full confidence in Mettle and cannot recommend it enough. I only regret not finding this sooner. Reviewed on: 18th March 2025

Very easy to use

Banking with Mettle for a small business owner is very easy and straightforward. I particularly like being able to allocate funds to different pots and that I can use FreeAgent to keep my books up to date. Reviewed on: 18th March 2025

User friendly, reliable app with good customer service support both within the app and on the phone. Automatic sifting of a percentage of incoming monies to set 'pot's is useful and has the bonus of gaining a little interest. Reviewed on: 18th March 2025

A great value modern business account

Mettle provides a unique product for freelancers and small businesses where you can essentially have free business banking with an essential feature like invoicing. It’s now also a real bank account with new features coming in regularly so I’m very happy with the value to cost. Also it’s been very reliable, maintenance outages are minimal and the app is very well designed and stable.
