I’m a new sole trader

I’m a new soletrader and Mettle has been incredible, I’m still learning the free software FreeAgent but it has changed how I run things and has given me more confidence in being able to run a business as a woman and for one being over 40! So far it’s been excellent Reviewed on: 18th March 2025

Made the switch to Mettle and haven't looked back

I switched to Mettle from Starling for this last tax year and the experience with Mettle has been so much easier and more user-intuitive, especially with the included integration with FreeAgent. All the categories make sense and mostly align with FreeAgent's although there is the odd one or two that don't. Moving money around is super easy and I LOVE that I can put a percentage of my earnings into the tax pots rather than a fixed amount, it's made things so much smoother when putting aside funds for tax and NI. Overall, I'm really happy with Mettle and it's made some of the back office tasks in my business easier and smoother. Reviewed on: 18th March 2025

I’ve been using Mettle for a while now, and it has been a game-changer for my business banking. The app is user-friendly and transactions are quick. I love that there are no monthly fees. Customer support is also responsive and helpful whenever I have a question. Highly recommend Mettle for freelancers and small business owners looking for a hassle-free banking experience! On a few occasions I've had some Ghost transactions, customer support received has always been excellent both with the response rate and the fact that you are kept upto date with what's actually going on.
