My first experience with a business bank account and I have had no trouble. Answered my initial questions quickly to put my mind at ease and then I felt supported from the get go. The app is so easy to use, the free agent subscription is an amazing extra and overall has made my transition to self-employment feel way less daunting. Reviewed on: 9th April 2026

easy to set up, use, and track transaction types

Mettle was very easy to set up online for my very small business. I like that you can tag every item in the transactions, (eg sales, type of expense, transfer between accounts etc) so it makes keeping your account records easier. It is easy to use the account online, and copy the required information for people to make payments into the account. Reviewed on: 9th April 2026
