Poor interest rates & poor customer service

Poor interest rates, can get much higher interest rates elsewhere with better customer service and access. I've tried getting help before and they contact centre is rubbish hours and branch access doesn't help when you need to work. They seem to only be interested in pensioners who can go to their branches. Reviewed on: 22nd January 2024

Cardiff, Queen St branch

Called into Cardiff, Queen St branch 18.1.24 to open a Limited access savings account. Was greeted by Shanagh who went through the paperwork with me. She was excellent, very professional, friendly and efficient. An excellent ambassador for your brand. I would not hesitate to recommend your Queen St Cardiff branch. Five star service, thank you. Monmouthshire Building Society Branch Review

Really helpful staff, who can cope, are happy to cope with the coins and small amounts of our local group's fundraising and spending. Monmouth branch of Monmouthshire Building Society is the only branch open 6 days a week. Most have closed their premises altogether and even Nationwide is only open 3 days a week.
