Simple, Transparent, Efficient

Immediate alerts when money is spent, categorised spending and simple access to 3rd-party savings accounts (so pretty good rates thanks to making them compete). Lightyears ahead of the old banks. Reviewed on: 18th January 2020

Brilliant fantastic

This is a great bank,it does so much,helps with where your money goes ie bills,food,ect,its a app on your phone and its far better then a lot of other banks i would give this 100 stars if i could Reviewed on: 18th January 2020

More Tech than Bank

Although I have no problem with Monzo, and I wish them every success, I feel they focus more on the tech and community aspects of their business than they do on being a bank. This would not be right for everyone, hence the lower recommendation score, but I still wish them every success Reviewed on: 18th January 2020

Poor product

They keep chaning their policies and taking away things that made them good at the beginning. They are also trying their had to push a horrible Plus version of their current account and they are planning to take away essential features like customer service. Be wary if you have cash as you will be charged an extra £1 for deposit. Stay away from Monzo and use any other bank, even old fashioned banks are better. Reviewed on: 18th January 2020

Revolutionised budgeting for me

Using Monzo has fundamentally changed how I interact with money. I am so much more in control of my spending and haven’t used my overdraft at all since making the switch. The instant transaction notifications have also saved me from potential fraud this week and after I froze my card and reported it I got a new card the very next day. Absolute hero’s. Changed the way I bank

I always was and still am frustrated at the pace at which legacy banks crawl forward. Whilst Monzo's pace has slowed as they've become more established, they're still head and shoulders above the competition and their transparency of their plans and active developments is great. The only uses for my legacy bank now is for their credit card offering and to issue cheques when the rare occasion arises. Reviewed on: 17th January 2020
