Monzo - Banking for today's world

Banking has never interested me. It is a tool to use that gets me through each month. Since switching to Monzo, I am more engaged with my finances, better at monitoring my spending, payments and even spotting trends. I love it (I can't believe I wrote that about a bank account but it's true). I have told everyone who'll listen that they should leave their antiquated banks and follow me to Monzo. Banking for the future!

After spending years with a high street bank I was getting fed up with my balance not reflecting what I had to spend and the service in the bank was poor too. Having looked at Monzo and seen that as soon as you spend the money is considered spent (even though it may not leave the bank for a few days) and it's not available to spend. To add to that the budgeting and ease of everything is a breath of fresh air to the banking industry. The community forum is great to give feedback and Monzo actually listen to their customers to constantly improve the user experience. Monzo are showing that banking is changing and feel the will soon be leaving other banks behind them. Monzo for bank of the year!!! Reviewed on: 22nd January 2019

The best bank there currently is

I have multiple bank accounts with different providers (many for different purposes). And Monzo is currently definitely the best bank there is on the market for day to day dealings. Love the honest fresh approach to banking...

As a late comer to the Monzo family (and being an avid High Street bank customer for many many years), I got recommended to open a Monzo Bank Account by a recommendation by a friend. The account opening process was amazingly simple, card delivered promptly, communication at every point is amazing and the ethics of the company are simple wonderfully fresh. How banking should be

Customer for over a year now, most intuitive banking app I have used. Some of the functionality now being copied/cloned by legacy banks, but Monzo remain intuitive and ahead of the curve. Instant push notifications for any expenditure, virtual pots to segregate and manage your money better, automated payments, analysis of spending habits and integration for IFTTT are just some of the basics offered by this account, but the offering continues to expand on a regular basis. Monzo staff actively engage with their customers/community, keeping us informed with regular updates, sharing content from seminars, and involving us in polls about future functionality.
