I can’t fault Monzo at all. It’s my favourite bank. I use it as a hub for all my banking and I love all the constant new features and clean design. I love how it helps to manage my money as well and the Perks tier is great value for money Reviewed on: 22nd January 2026

Monzo really makes looking after my finances easy and less intimidating. The layout is easy to navigate. It is simple to understand and makes me want to be better with my finances. I wanted to send £1000 to a friend in Dubai to buy Christmas presents for friends, Monzo flagged this a scam, I had about £25000 in my account. They asked for access to my social media as proof I knew this person. After I jumped through all the hoops and there was a lot, including wanting copies of my other bank account statements. They still said I couldn't spend my own money. They then closed my account. What sort of bank can decide who or what you can spend your own money on. Now I'm with a much better online bank that actually has much better features. Reviewed on: 12th January 2026

first of all I am not good English speaker, but I try to do my best.. I sent money on weekend 2;30 am In the morning to wrong account number..I didn't know what to do. I just sent them a simple text and I told them What I have done by mistake..they immediately responded and they Refund money into my account less than 5 minutes They are number one in the world for the banking system and service..I love you monzo.. Account Clouser

Monzo decided to close my account In September 2025, and they informed me about this in July 2025. They refused to give me any reason as to why they were going to close my account! I asked for my data from the bank, and they informed me that it will take a month for them to get my information to me (this was back in July). We are now at the end of September 2025 and I have still not received my data from them. I have provided everything to them as asked to identify myself etc etc and they are still delaying for me to receive my data. It's like they don't want to give it me and are making up excuses! Every time I call them, I am talking to different team members and have to repeat my story multiple times too (even getting through to someone is a mission). The Monzo Customer Service is terrible!!
