Monzo: The financial bestie I never knew I needed

Monzo makes budgeting actually doable—instant spending alerts, easy bill splitting, and pots to pretend I’m saving. The app is smooth, the customer service is great, and the ability to round up spare change into savings is a game-changer. Nothing humbles you faster than a Monzo notification seconds after tapping your card, but at least I always know where my money’s going (mostly brunch). Definitely recommend it, even if my bank balance wouldn’t. Reviewed on: 18th March 2025

I switched. You should too

I recently switched to Monzo from one of the main High Street banks as it was offering so much more. The app is fun, easy to use and now family orientated which is great for my family of four. It's helped give me better visibility of my mortgage, credit score, pensions. Everything. Customer service is great (Not excellent) but still streaks ahead of the others. I also get the feeling that Monzo are constantly upgrading and adapting based on customer feedback. Reviewed on: 18th March 2025

I've been a Monzo account holder since around 2017,...

I've been a Monzo account holder since around 2017, back when they did golden tickets for cards. Since opening an account, they've always shone above my other banks because of their priority on the customer - whether it's being early on the no-fee when spending abroad train or the rewards/cashback bandwagon, they constantly put their customers first.
