More than insurance is a total scam! My student daughter is in tears with this company they are a disgrace, this smart wheels policy they offer is a cash generator, £180 for 500 extra miles, 108 miles into this 500 extr they sent her a notice of cancellation, only two month of her policy to go, a phone call later and they now want £290 extra for 1000 more miles!!!!!!! Apparently the 500 she purchased is now not acceptable to them?!? So unless she she agrees to an additional 1000 they are cancelling the policy! You gits! They kept her on the phone telling her if she hung up the quote would increase, she put Lewis on hold and phoned me in tears, they would not allow us to pay the extra in a lump sum to save her the stress, the payment had to come from her account? She is a student ffs and struggling as it is you slimy money makers, they refused to send her the updated quote saying it was against company rules to share that information? Go on tell me why? How can a company refuse to send a quote or invoice for a policy extra? Where is the money going. It sounds to me that the team at moron sorry more than are on commission for extras, it all seems to double glazing salesman to me, why does she have to pay now? Window salesman tactic, why will the price go up if she does not pay now? Window salesman tactic, why can your team not send a revised invoice/ quote? Conning salesman avoiding VAT tactic, why only accept debit card payments? Window salesman tactics or someone fearful of a chargeback! Cash is king now how about a new front door? Morons sorry more than is scamming inexperienced youngsters! Avoid at all costs do not be fooled it is not worth the stress. Note to more than we will join any joint court action against you now you have caused my daughter and us so much stress and money, in my opinion you have tricked us and Mis sold her this policy after her inputting her information. At the start she told them her family home is in one city but was a student at a university in another, so she was living away from home of course, they understood that and continued with the quote, months later they contacted her saying her policy was incorrect and the vehicle was not being kept at the family home, they were aware of that! But penalised her for that fact after being made aware and the correct section of the quote being filled in saying all that. She is studying aviation and also told them she would be driving at odd hours including early AM they were ok with that at the time of the quote but not after! They shafted her score what ever that is saying she was driving at unreasonable hours and penalised her score? They were aware to start with! You tell me how driving very early in the morning is more risky than at peak times? They also said repeatedly at the time of selling the policy that she would need a black box they repeatedly told her it would only need to be on for six months! You lying gits! I demand you stop telling people that because that is a lie! That is not correct and your team are telling people that but when it comes to it they are learning the hard way. I do not like the way you also cancel policies so easily! You are ruining young people's lives acting in that way! You not only damage the credit history and policy that shows as being cancelled effects future quotes! So if this is a way of increasing prices year on year then I hope some government body screws you over good and proper you damn well deserve it. Stop acting like crooks be honest and open! Yes money is all you are after I understand that but go about it the correct way! Me and my family will now not use more than or any company associated with it ever again! My vehicle broke down due it catching fire from under bonnet apparently if this is a mechanical or electrical fault it’s not covered !! Paid out right for policy and full comp with all the extras can NOT believe they are covered only for the body of the car it’s absolutely miss sold when signing up with them …. They have had my vehicle for over 2 weeks now and I have not received any update on my vehicle or if it’s covered !!! Absolutely awful!

I'm abroad and been trying to get a foreign use extension for driving in Europe but after 2 hours on the phone (at expensive international rates) their 'customer service' staff still haven't got it through their thick skulls what I need. They keep putting me on hold, then disappear, and I have to start from scratch with each new phone call. Disgusting service, worst company ever! Reviewed on: 21st June 2021

Slightly cheaper, but please don't bother

From the start we found their communication and customer service is non existent. The reward card they talk about is a waste of time as you cant activate it to use the rewards. We have been trying for two months, and despite contacting them, its still not activated. We would never deal with this company again. They are awful, avoid at all costs. Poor customer service, Poor Company

Points of grievance. 1. falsely advised my policy was on a 3 month hold from november until 28th january several times - was even issued a new direct debit schedule commencing january 2021 2. incorrectly notified about the policy cancellation with regard to point 1 3. falsely advised regarding overdue amounts ie £169.52 over due in november when my bank shows that at that point i have only missed the october and november payment 4. having the policy cancelled on the 11th without even a phone call to warn just 3 emails on the day of cancellation 5. forced to take unpaid time off from work and caring duties ( in a PANDEMIC) to attempt to have the whole mess sorted and get my policy reinstated. 6. failure of call handlers to actually call me back when they said the would 7. lack of respect shown and combative/abusive call handlers from south Africa 8. numerous blind transfers or just plain getting hung up on. a formal complaint is in process Reviewed on: 12th January 2021

DIRECT DEBIT S UNREQUESTED

I have had a very stressful experience dealing with problem of direct debit payments. Two of my monthly premiums were not paid due to Morethan not requesting funds from my bank. I have today dealt with caring knowledgable staff who thankfully resolved the issues and I was impressed by their attitude and genuine wish to help. TOOK OUT CAR INSURANCE WITH MORE THAN BACK IN SEPT CANCELLED NEXT DAY DUE TO FINDING A DEAL WITH A BETTER INSURANCE COMPANY STILL AWAITING REFUND OF 493.66 WHICH THEY KEEP PROMIS ING TO PAY BUT STILL WAITING. AWFUL COMPANY!

Took car insurance out with more than and cancelled a couple of days later because I found a better deal elsewhere. I'm a very experienced driver in my 60s Trying to get a full refund is almost impossible ! Phoned them every day for 2 weeks asking where is my refund ? To be told it's been actioned and returned to your card but it hasn't another occasion a rep told me it was sent in the post by cheque a couple of weeks ago. Again no it hasn't MORE THAN ARE BLATANT LIARS AND THIEVES COMPLETE CON COMPANY. NOW REPORTED TO TRADING STANDARDS AND PREPARING TO TAKE COURT ACTION AGAINST THEM FOR THE RECOVERY OF 493 POUNDS MORE THAN ARE THE WORST INSURANCE COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH ! AVOID AT ALL COSTS ! DO NOT USE THESE SCAMMERS AND THIEVES ! I AM FUMING AT THE WAY IVE BEEN TREATED BY MORE THAN AND WILL NOT REST UNTIL THEY ARE FORCED TO GO OUT OF BUSINESS BY THE LEGAL SYSTEM Reviewed on: 25th October 2020

Absolutely shocking of a company. Taken a year and half to settle my claim. Evan now it’s settled they are taking forever to finish everything else.
