Cora terrible for the Nat West brand

I have little to add to the negative reviews of Cora, it is beyond useless. It connot understand, let alone answer, simple queries like "Where is the manage my card option in the Nat West app". Surely, when poor technology like this frustrates customers it can only be a matter of time before Nat West implements genuinely useful AI based on an existing knowledge base. Needless to say, Nat West needs to continue to invest in customer service humans at a decent level. Reviewed on: 30th August 2024

Cora not found

Logged into online banking, and also used search engine, but could find no access to Cora. Reviewed on: 4th January 2022

Took 20 minutes to change address. She's slow to respond

I logged on to change my address and was pleased to see I could do that with Cora. Its been 17 minutes since I first logged on. In that time I've had my session time out, logged back in 3 times and spoken to an agent who told me to log off and on again. It takes Cora over a minute to register my yes/no answer before sending the next bit of script. It took her 4 mins between me confirming my new address and her re-confirming my new address. Perhaps she was updating the system. Perhaps Cora could have mentioned this? Instead I had to aimlessly "click around" my account so my session didn't time out again. In the end it's taken 20 minutes to change my address. Quicker than doing in the branch I suppose but slow for a digital assistant. Reviewed on: 31st October 2021

Quick and simple

I used the Cora service today to close a business account I have with NatWest. The process was simple, quick and easy. I typed 'close business account' in to the chat box and Cora did the rest. All the questions were laid out with simple check boxes to select the correct response. There was no waiting in a queue, it was quick, and polite. I also use NatWest for personal banking and would definitely use the service again. Brilliant innovation. Reviewed on: 28th April 2021
