Terrible poor service

1
I opened a basic account with natwest 4 years ago, I had wages going in for 3 years then I left work to become a full time mother and house wife! I didn't have the same income coming in to my bank account I received a letter only recently stating that my account would be closed in 4 weeks time and the decision was final there was no explanation why, I used my bank account weekly and luckily I managed to set up a bank else where or I would have been sharing a bank with my husband! I got in touch with Natwest and they couldn't give me an explanation! Terrible poor service. Reviewed on: 3rd May 2016

Hmm ... But it is just a bank

3
To be honest st my local bank I find the staff very 'up themselves' to put it bluntly and politely, they are always talking to each other rather than offering help to customer and now with all this self banking stuff it's more excuse for them to be lazy, it's as if you are interrupting them by asking for help. But that aside the bank its self us just that a bank and I wouldn't change because there's no reason too I know where my money is and I know it's safe Reviewed on: 21st April 2016

Easy to use

Great account for bad credit, starting out, no overdraft, chip and pin, rarely any issues with this bank. If I could change one thing? Touch base with customers more, especially loyal ones Reviewed on: 21st April 2016

Good but slow

4
I'm currently using Natwest as a second account, the problem with them is that they're so slow in comparison to Barclays (my main account). Transferring money can take up to 24 hours to appear in online banking, and the website doesn't seem as easy to navigate. However, they're pretty good with some of the products they offer, so worth a look. Reviewed on: 28th March 2016

One of the best customer service

4
Natwest has the most helpful customer service I have ever dealt with. They are always happy to help and nothing can't be put right. They protected my savings just they way I like. If my current account is low they will notify me by text so that I don't get any charges for my direct debit transactions. Twice it has happened to me and twice they funny charge me any fee when my current account was overdrawn maybe because I have 2 other savings with them & they know I must have overlooked it which I have. A quick transfer of monies onto my current account instantly put me back in charge. Like everything else treat people nicely and they will treat you with respect. Reviewed on: 28th March 2016

Simple and easy

I have 2 bank accounts and my natwest one is my favorite. It was quick and easy to do i didn't even have to go in branch just send my details off. They keep me updated regularly by email and text and the app is very simple to use. Reviewed on: 28th March 2016
