There’s a monthly fee for the Reward Platinum account. You get mobile insurance, breakdown cover, travel insurance and other benefits as an account holder. There are no non-sterling transaction fees when you buy with your debit card abroad.

Great features, easy to use

I love the NatWest app purely because of how easy it is to use, as well as how many features and options there are that allow me to make the most of my money. Whether that’s budgeting, spending, saving, there are loads of options and ways that the app can help facilitate my needs whatever they are. And if I have any questions then the team on the end of the phone are always very helpful, and the wait time isn’t ever long at all unlike Barclays or HSBC. My rewards account also allows me the opportunity for further savings options, as well as the chance to make money from my credit card whilst I use it to pay for other monthly essentials I may need. My investment account I get offered is also a nice touch. Even though I have an investment account elsewhere and I don’t use it, it’s still nice to know I have that option to use it anyway if I was to ever want to. All in all, really great app with great features and a rewards account system that really assists with helping me make the most of my money. Reviewed on: 17th February 2023

Easy, accessible and transparent

Love using the app which makes managing the account, making payments, accessing the T&Cs easy. On the rare occasion I have contacted the telephony teams they have been knowledgeable, quick to respond and spoken in layman terms. The account serves our family needs and we have never questioned if NatWest is the right bank for us. Reviewed on: 17th February 2023
