Really friendly, helpful staff and also easy to add funds by internet as well.

I met staff of Newbury Building Society at Abingdon Air Show and liked the sound of the account which I subsequently opened in branch. The service I received in branch was very good and the whole process was very smooth. Since then I have used internet access which again is very user-friendly (I'm not computer-savvy, so need simple systems!). Reviewed on: 4th January 2018

Transferring ISA

It was great to go through the process in person in my local branch, the Wokingham branch staff were extremely helpful & informative. I was also able to speak to someone at the head office to confirm the application had been processed. I really value being able to speak to someone rather than rely on automated on-line systems and the saving rates are good too. Highly recommended. Reviewed on: 18th November 2022

Very nice welcome

My wife has been a member for some time, as I wanted to open a new savings account she recommended The Newbury, so as we were in Newbury we visited temporary branch at our head office on Bartholomew Street, and was very happy with the lady that help me to open my account.
