Accessing money

Saturday morning June 13th I have just been to the Andover branch to withdraw some money. Due to the current covid situation it is closed. I totally understand reduced hours in this situation but I think One of the days you should open should be a Saturday and close a different day ( or more) during the week. I use the building society for the pass book account it makes it easier to save with no hole in the wall access to your money. I’ve had to work all the way through this horrible situation and now can’t access my savings !! Reviewed on: 13th June 2020

Opening new account

Very easy to open my new account on line. I was a little early in my application but the message I received advising of this was extremely polite and courteous. When the due date arrived everything proceeded smoothly the account was opened and I was able to transfer funds immediately. I very much missed dealing directly with the NBS staff who have always been exceptional in their customer service in the past. This Building Society is recommended without hesitation. Informative and efficient service.

Excellent clear instructions

I was most impressed with the clarity and overall information given to me regarding opening an account with you also the friendliness and professionalism of your member of staff (I believe it was Chelsea according to her badge) which made the whole experience to use a term "a joy to do business". Opening new savings account online

Opening the account was very straightforward once I had all the information. Unfortunately, the website is not the most intuitive to use. Once you are familiar with it, it is ok, but there are banking sites much easier to negotiate. Face to face and email customer service is great. Reviewed on: 22nd May 2020
