Really friendly, helpful staff and also easy to add funds by internet as well.

I met staff of Newbury Building Society at Abingdon Air Show and liked the sound of the account which I subsequently opened in branch. The service I received in branch was very good and the whole process was very smooth. Since then I have used internet access which again is very user-friendly (I'm not computer-savvy, so need simple systems!). Reviewed on: 4th January 2018

Good service in the end

Went in to open two ISAs, but were originally told we would have to make an appointment another day due to staff shortage. We had already completed the forms which we got online,and after muttering our disappointment were dealt with by the cashier. We had to leave the paperwork and our cheques, but after a couple of days our accounts were opened and our passbooks were posted to us, so all was well in the end. Reviewed on: 7th September 2019

Easy to set-up a new account

As a new member of Newbury Building Society, I was very impressed at how easy it was to setup a new account. This is even more so given that you are a small building Society compared to others who could learn a lot from you. Reviewed on: 2nd September 2019
