Easy

It took longer than i thought it would

I went into branch to open 2 new accounts. Due to the only member if staff who could do this was busy it took nearly 1 hour. Part of this was due to the fraud section of my bank blocking the tranaction. Your member of staff dealt with this Reviewed on: 30th August 2019

Very simple and thorough

I visited the Didcot branch to open two accounts. Tina behind the counter was in training but she was excellent. No complaints in the process Reviewed on: 30th August 2019

Opening new Savings Accounts

My wife and I called in to the That branch to open new savings accounts. Although we did not have an appointment booked, we did not have to wait very long before meeting Gemma who dealt with our enquiries in a very efficient, professional & friendly way, presenting us with a Document folder containing all the necessary product information. The passbooks & covering letters arrived by 1st class post the next day. Reviewed on: 29th August 2019

Great Building Society

This is the 2nd savings account I have opened with the Newbury, and as always I was greeted with a smile and friendly welcome. The whole process was efficient, simple and straightforward, the society makes its members feel valued and I wish I’d discovered the Newbury Building Society years ago. Opened a new account

How times have changed when getting 1.75% interest on £2k a year seems a good deal! Opened an existing member account as recommended by the cashier. She said it would take 7 minutes & it probably did. Not a painful experience at all. Reviewed on: 26th August 2019
