Really friendly, helpful staff and also easy to add funds by internet as well.

I met staff of Newbury Building Society at Abingdon Air Show and liked the sound of the account which I subsequently opened in branch. The service I received in branch was very good and the whole process was very smooth. Since then I have used internet access which again is very user-friendly (I'm not computer-savvy, so need simple systems!). Reviewed on: 4th January 2018

Making investments

We visited the Didcot Branch yesterday and spent some time with Hannah Tame. A very knowledgeable and helpful lady, who advised us very professionally, after which one of us opened a new ISA. and we jointly opened a savings account. Reviewed on: 30th August 2019

Easy

It took longer than i thought it would

I went into branch to open 2 new accounts. Due to the only member if staff who could do this was busy it took nearly 1 hour. Part of this was due to the fraud section of my bank blocking the tranaction. Your member of staff dealt with this Reviewed on: 30th August 2019

Opening new Savings Accounts

My wife and I called in to the That branch to open new savings accounts. Although we did not have an appointment booked, we did not have to wait very long before meeting Gemma who dealt with our enquiries in a very efficient, professional & friendly way, presenting us with a Document folder containing all the necessary product information. The passbooks & covering letters arrived by 1st class post the next day. Reviewed on: 29th August 2019

Great Building Society

This is the 2nd savings account I have opened with the Newbury, and as always I was greeted with a smile and friendly welcome. The whole process was efficient, simple and straightforward, the society makes its members feel valued and I wish I’d discovered the Newbury Building Society years ago.
