I recently start working in Newbury and while I searching for a best home for my saving, Newbury BS top the table with their account “Welcome to Newbury”, I didn’t think twice and decided to open an account and called the Newbury branch and I was so impressed with the first call, made an appointment, received a clear instruction what to bring in, and the service I have received is second to none, certainly they are best in class. Really friendly, helpful staff and also easy to add funds by internet as well.

I met staff of Newbury Building Society at Abingdon Air Show and liked the sound of the account which I subsequently opened in branch. The service I received in branch was very good and the whole process was very smooth. Since then I have used internet access which again is very user-friendly (I'm not computer-savvy, so need simple systems!). Reviewed on: 4th January 2018

Best savings advice with courteous friendly staff.

Loyalty is rewarded

After many years with a Newbury Mortgage, I now just have a Loyalty Saver Account which I operate by post, as I now live 200 miles from the nearest branch! The service is fast and efficient. If I ever need to talk to anyone, they are invariably courteous and helpful on the phone - it's that simple. Reviewed on: 4th January 2018

Satisfied customer for many years

The relationship started 28 years ago, with what seemed like a BIG mortgage in those days! Although it's some years since we repaid it, I have always maintained savings with the Newbury getting a competitive rate in a "Loyalty" saver. Loyalty works both ways - thank you Newbury! Fast friendly service in branch

I always receive quick & friendly service in branch, unlike other providers a cashier is always available, there is no roaming assistant, trying to get me to use a self service facility, while needed cashier positions are shut. Customer service really is a priority. Reviewed on: 4th January 2018
