Generally fine but can be challenging to track your expenditure with the balance delays. Also, can take several days for any payments to be transferred in making it also challenging to manage other accounts. Reviewed on: 8th June 2026

Fantastic all round!!

I’ve had a PayPal account for many years and have always loved the flexibility it gave me for paying online without providing my main bank details. I recently signed up to the debit and credit cards for even more flexibility. The ease of being able to transfer money back and forth between accounts is fantastic. The offer on the credit card of 0% interest on payments over £99 for 4 months is such a great safety net for those months where things might be a little tight. I’ve only had to contact customer service a couple of times over the years and each time it has been excellent. The staff are friendly, informative and go above and beyond to resolve the issue. PayPal has always serviced me well. Any problems with deliveries and a seller, they are always fair. I have never had an issue with them and I have used PayPal for more than 20 years. Ease of purchase and peace of mind that if short of cadhflow, it can be paid at a later date. There is no need to add credit card details for online purchases which can be daunying for retailers, that are less well known. Reviewed on: 8th June 2026
