I use PayPal for pretty much all my online purchases and it's genuinely one of those things I'd miss if it disappeared. Not having to type my card details into every website is a relief, and knowing there's buyer protection behind transactions gives you a bit of confidence when buying from somewhere new. Paid on my new card and it came straight out of my bank linked to it so what is the point now I have to sort out going over drawn in my bank I thought it would give me time to pay it off. So that is why I used it in that moment. Reviewed on: 13th June 2026
