I’ve used PayPal Credit for several large purchases, and the main benefit is the 6 months special financing on purchases over $149. It’s easy to apply, approval is quick, and it integrates seamlessly with your PayPal account at checkout. What I liked: · No annual fee and no interest if you pay in full within 6 months. · Instant approval and automatic addition to your PayPal wallet. · Helpful for budgeting big expenses like electronics or furniture. Drawbacks: · If you miss the 6-month payoff date, deferred interest is charged on the full original amount — not just the remaining balance. · The app interface doesn’t make the due date as obvious as I’d like. · High APR after any promo period ends (around 20–25%). Final verdict: Great tool for short-term, interest-free borrowing if you’re disciplined about paying on time. Not ideal for carrying a balance long-term. Honestly, it’s saved me in a pinch, but read the terms carefully so you don’t get surprised by backdated interest. Reviewed on: 6th May 2026

I really like the 'one step' away from my banking account and not sharing my core bank account details with unknown companies. With the new PayPal+ and debit card there are good rewards. The credit options (pay in 3 and 0% for 4months) are both really useful for those slightly larger payments. Reviewed on: 6th May 2026
