Pathetic

Extremely disappointed with PayPal’s buyer protection.

Extremely disappointed with PayPal’s buyer protection. A parcel worth £863.52 was dumped outside my house without my permission — no signature, no safe place authorised. The delivery company marked it as delivered, and PayPal sided with them despite clear evidence of negligence. PayPal’s so-called ‘buyer protection’ is meaningless if they automatically trust a delivery company’s word over a customer who never received their goods. I have appealed the decision and I’m still waiting. If this is not resolved fairly, I will be escalating to the Financial Ombudsman Service. Buyers beware — PayPal does not protect you when it matters most. Reviewed on: 8th July 2026

PayPal, for piece of mind.

I use PayPal all of the time when purchasing items online and if they are expensive i have also used pay in 3 which is really handy being able to spread the cost over 3 months. I think it is good to have the piece of mind that PayPal gives you knowing that they have got your back if anything goes wrong. Reviewed on: 8th July 2026
