Using PayPal is a secure way for me as an OAP it takes the worry of being scammed out of the equation and the pay in 3 option is really helpful when you are balancing a tight budget and knowing if you have been misled or miss sold a wrong product you feel very secure because you know that PayPal has your back Reviewed on: 8th June 2026

I’ve used PayPal Pay in 3 several times and have found it to be a convenient and reliable way to spread the cost of larger purchases. The application process is straightforward, decisions are usually made quickly, and everything is clearly explained before you commit. I like being able to split payments into three manageable instalments without having to apply for a traditional credit product. The PayPal app and website make it easy to keep track of upcoming payments, view my payment schedule, and manage my account. Notifications and reminders help ensure I never miss a payment, which gives me extra peace of mind. I’ve also found the service to integrate smoothly with many online retailers, making checkout fast and simple. What I appreciate most is the transparency. There are no surprises, and I always know exactly what I will pay and when. For budgeting and managing cash flow, Pay in 3 has been extremely useful.
