Its Very easy and efficient for me and it is accepted by all the shops i tend to use. Also just been accepted to paypal credit which has the potential to come in handy for those more expensive purchases. Reviewed on: 8th May 2026

Conversion Rate

Paypal do not allow UK customers to link any other bank account that isn't a UK one. This means you are stuck with PayPals conversion rate which is extortionate, its almost like a way of them skimming some of your money to line their pockets. For example: If you have US dollar in your account and you want to put in your U.S Wise account to avoid hefty conversion rates, PayPal will not allow this and force you to use their conversion rate which is between a 3% - 4% markup.
