Avoid at all vosts

My.puppy had a seizure and was hospitalised by my vets.she was on drip and had various blood tests. She spent the day at my vets for observations. To cit a long story short we paid our vet bill of £775.00 and subsequently made a claim with our insurers..perfect pet. We received a payment 4 weeks later of £276.00 stating on the remittance tests we could have got cheaper treatment. I am absolutely fuming as l have no control what my vet charges and have cancelled this policy....please please do not use this company....they are just rip off merchants looking gor any excuse not to pay.... there is no way they've achieved a 5star recommendation and l would have given them a minus star if l voild...avoid at all costs!! I had assumed that the policy would be more expensiv...

I had assumed that the policy would be more expensive than last year but was horrified at the increase. On checking comparison web site I was very disappointed to find the same policy at only a small increase. After 25 minutes wait for my phone call to be answered I was pleased that your operative could match the site price. I have to admit I was tempted to look elsewhere as I feel you do not value loyalty. Reviewed on: 14th October 2025

Perfect experience

I have had some absolutely terrible experiences with pet insurers, all very well known if I’m honest and their treatment of their customers was shocking especially when I was grieving for my pet. Perfectpets from start of the claim and their ongoing service has been so far impeccable. They have explained all the clauses and when they speak to you , it’s coming from an empathetic attitude. They are knowledgeable in their processes and will ask you to check any hidden costs or limits on costs. PerfectPet PerfectService!

I have had to contact perfectpet several times for updates to my insurance due to relationship breakdowns and house moves and they have been incredibly empathetic and helpful every time. They didn't charge me for changing my address and when I decided I wanted to cancel and shop around (after cut off!) they honoured it without judgement or charge.
