The RBS Select current account is a basic account for everyday banking.

Account holders can access RBS’ mobile banking app which has a range of money management features and built-in credit score checker. The Select account is compatible with Apple Pay and Google Pay and has the option for an arranged overdraft.

Everything I want/need in a current account

I've had this current account with RBS for a good number of years - and during that time, I've seen it constantly being improved, with new features being added as to how I can manage it via the app on a regular basis. Reviewed on: 1st April 2021

Always an excellent service

Always excellent on line or in the bank very helpful. On line is easy to use and the online assistant is really good wasn't sure at first but I love it now! In the bank they are very pleasant and great customer service. Reviewed on: 30th March 2021

Great app, reliable service

I've been a RBS customer for over 30 YEARS. In that time I've seen telephone banking come in, computer app banking and a reduced need to visit branches. I've never been let down by the bank, the app excellent and if I've needed to speak to a person, whether over the phone or face to face at my branch in Ullapool, I've always found the staff to be very helpful. Thirty years plus banking and still happy

Only the rich may enter

Not very flexible or understanding, makes little to no effort of focusing on individual needs. One broad brush that paints everyone. Very profit driven which most times leaves the individual trying to sort their finances on the sidelines as they feel ignored and underappreciated.
